WHAT WE PROVIDE
ISO 2001:2015 Quality Control
As an International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 9001-2015 certified organization, Capstone’s quality system is an integral part of our approaches to contract performance and corporate management. Our comprehensive quality processes enable standardized methods for problem identification and resolution, and help to ensure consistent delivery of effective services to our clients.
Service Management Best Practice
Effective IT Service Management (ITSM) requires a consistent, proven approach to deliver the most value. Capstone provides the expertise to plan and establish a tailored service management system based on Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) best-practices and utilizing modern service desk tools.
Agile Methods & Tools
Capstone works with clients to select and tailor agile frameworks for software and application development and project management. Agile Certified Practitioners and Scrum Masters use industry best practices and tools alongside Capstone’s own knowledge management and dashboard tools. Our team is DevOps-focused, embracing distributed version control, standardized development environments, continuous integration/deployment (CI/CD), and automated testing.
Security & Risk Management
For a healthy cybersecurity posture, security and risk must be considered from the very beginning of the system development lifecycle. Capstone guides organizations through the six step Risk Management Framework (RMF) process by developing the Plan of Action and Milestones and working closely with system owners to select, document, and implement security controls while supporting the production of all required artifacts.
Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
Evaluating, designing and implementing modern system capabilities is necessary to provide more effective business and mission capabilities. Capstone analysts, architects, engineers, designers, and managers work together research, develop, integrate and deploy modern solutions such as tailored business applications and new cloud environments.
Capstone manages all stages of the Joint Event Life Cycle (JELC) to design and execute joint training and exercises. The JELC offers a flexible event planning methodology while replicating the full environment of Political, Military, Economic, Social, Infrastructure and Information influences for mission-focused training requirements.
ADDIE/SCORM Curriculum Development
The ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) model for curriculum development ensures a flexible, iterative, and production- oriented approach to design and develop quality products. Capstone employs the proven ADDIE model to deliver innovation and continuous improvement while providing course content that is Sharable Content Object Reference Model (SCORM) compliant.
Capstone experts integrate multiple data sources in a governed manner using Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes so clients have “one true source” of authoritative data. Our Integrated Project Teams establish the data environment by consolidating disparate data sources such as databases and warehouses to enable enterprise level descriptive analytics and reporting capability for enhanced data quality and reporting.
