Thomas D. Madison co-owns Capstone Corporation and has been Vice President and Chief Operations Officer since joining the company in January 1998. During Mr. Madison’s tenure with Capstone, the company has grown from $6M to over $26M in annual revenue and has also had sustained profitability and become debt-free.

Mr. Madison has held previous executive positions with Systems Integration and Research Incorporated (SIR). At SIR, Mr. Madison was co-owner and served as President and Chief Executive Officer. During Mr. Madison’s seven year tenure with SIR, annual revenues grew from $6M to over $18M. Mr. Madison has over twenty five years of contracts experience providing professional service support to the government. Mr. Madison is a Captain in the Navy Reserve and is currently assigned as the Navy Reserve Commanding Officer of Fleet Industrial Supply Center- Yokosuka, Japan. 

Mr. Madison received his bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill in May 1979 and his Masters in Business Administration with a specialization in Contract Management from the Florida Institute of Technology in May 1986. Mr. Madison is also co-owner of  Bay Books Inc. located in California, Md.

Mr. Madison loves to scuba dive and is a huge fan of the "wall" in Grand Cayman. He took the photo above while diving there recently. He is married to Andree Dumermuth- Madison and has three sons, Aidan, Holden and Rylan and resides in Alexandria, Va.
