In the aftermath of the tragic events of 9–11, Capstone was hired to provide Operations Specialists to support a special task force to manage Department of Defense's efforts to respond to threats against the homeland. Since then, Capstone has repeatedly supported United States emergency response and civil operations requirements to include developing training simulations for local first responders; conducting Antiterrorism/ Force Protection assessments; coordinating interagency support for natural and man- made disasters; developing Intelligence Fusion Centers at the state level; and managing operations to respond to natural and man-made disasters.
