Ron Costella joined Capstone in May 2009 as Vice President, Enterprise Systems Support. His responsibilities include the business expansion of Capstone Corporation’s Missions Systems Support and Enterprise Technical Solutions sectors. Ron is responsible for approximately 200 employees supporting contracts involving mission support for varied business areas and contracts involving technical and professional services, information technology, software solutions, and enterprise level services for the Departments of the Army, Navy, Energy, the National Archives and Records Administration, U.S. Joint Forces Command, and NATO’s US-based headquarters, Supreme Allied Command-Transformation.

Previously, Ron served as the Vice President and Executive Director of the Human Capital Services and Managed Services Divisions for AMERICAN SYSTEMS, a $200M government contractor firm focusing on services for the federal government. In this role, Ron was the senior executive responsible for all operations in two operating divisions with 420 people and $54 million in annual revenue focusing on staff augmentation and business process outsourcing.

Ron also served as the Vice President and General Manager for Business Plus Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of AMERICAN SYSTEMS. He was the senior executive responsible for all operations of a 440 person, $40 million company focusing on staff augmentation, business process outsourcing, training, and engineering support for Department of Defense, federal government and state agencies. Mr. Costella was responsible for the integration of Business Plus Corporation into AMERICAN SYSTEMS.

Ron served as a Field Artillery Officer in the U.S. Army for 20 years and graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point with a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering. He also graduated form Cornell University with a Master of Science degree in Environmental Toxicology. Ron is active in the community and currently serves as the Committee Chair for Young Life Chesapeake, Virginia, a Christian non-denomination Youth Group. He is married to the former Barbara Ginas and they have 3 children - Brad (22), Corey (19) and Brian (18).
