Capstone Awarded Five Year Contract to Support National Intelligence Agency.
(July 2007) Capstone recently received an award from a government intelligence agency for services over a five year period that exceeds $18M. Capstone will provide over thirty specialists throughout the United States and one location overseas. This contract is of significance to Capstone because it marks our first major contract with a government intelligence agency.
Capstone on Dimensions International Team Awarded U.S. Army Field Readiness Support Team (FIRST) Contract.
(Nov 2006) U.S. Army announced the award of the FIRST contract to the Dimensions International (DI) Team on which Capstone Corporation is a Team Member. This contract is a multiple award contract designed to provide logistics support to Army Material Command; Forces Command; Installation Management Activity; U.S. Army Reserve Command; Third U.S. Army; First U.S. Army; and all other Army or DOD agencies authorized to place orders against FIRST contracts. The DI Team will provide personnel, materials, facilities, travel and other services to support missions during peace time, contingency operations, and war. Specific contract requirements include Logistics Program Management and Operations; Quality Assurance Support; Logistics Information Technology; Training Support; Army Logistics Transformation Support; Supply Services Support; Maintenance Support; and Sets, Kits and Outfit Technical Support. This contract will be managed on a Task Order basis by Capstone’s Business Solutions Directorate.
Capstone Awarded New Contract to Support Public Affairs Office at the Charleston Navy Weapons Station.
(Sep 2006) Capstone was awarded a new contract to provide journalism and editing support to the Public Affairs Office at the Charleston Navy Weapons Station. Capstone has provided graphics and PAO support for this client for the past several years, and this new contract reflects an expansion of responsibilities from the past support. Dick Staples, Deputy Director, Business Solutions, will manage this task.
Charleston Regional Service Center Awarded Contract to Support SPAWAR Systems Center Charleston (SSC-CHS)
(Aug 2004) Capstone Corporation, as a subcontractor to INDUS Technology, Inc., was awarded a contract on August 1, 2004 to provide program management, administrative services, financial management services and other technical support. Services will be performed for the Comptroller’s Office, Chief of Staff’s Office, Strategic Planning Office, Military Affairs Office, and Business Manager’s Office. Capstone has performed similar types of work in the Charleston area for SSC-CHS. INDUS has performed similar work for SPAWAR Systems Center San Diego and SPAWAR HQ in San Diego. Capstone’s Charleston Regional Service Center has grown by twenty new positions as a result of the contract. The contract includes a 1-year base period and four 1-year option periods.
Capstone joins Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC) Team to Provide Program Management, Financial Management and Administrative Support to Code 60, Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center (SPAWAR), Charleston.
(Oct 2006) Capstone joined Team CSC to support their efforts to provide program management, financial management and administrative support services to Code 60 and other activities of SPAWAR, Charleston. In support of this contract, Capstone will initially provide program management support services for the Surveillance Towed-Array Sensor Systems Program in Portsmouth, VA. Services provided will include program management support, logistics support and material acquisition, and administrative support. Bob Brich, Director of Mission Systems Division will manage this contract.
Capstone Member of SERCO Team Awarded Cooperative Administrative Support Unit (CASU) Contract.
(Sep 2006) SERCO Team was awarded a contract under the Cooperative Administration Support Unit (CASU) to provide Professional and Technical Services. Serco was one of three teams awarded a contract in the Professional Services area and one of five teams awarded a contract in the Technical Services area. The CASU Program was established in 1986 under the auspices of the President’s Council on Management Improvement to organize, coordinate and facilitate the provision of support services and related products to Federal Agencies. The SERCO Team will support CASU execute this charter by providing professional and technical services such as Medical, Accounting, Social Services, Human Resources, Engineering, Legal, Education, Physical Sciences, Facility, Investigative, Supply, Transportation, Information Technology, Maintenance, Industrial and Business and Industry Services. This contract will be managed on a Task Order basis, with the Teams awarded contracts in each functional area (Professional, Technical and Administrative/Clerical) submitting competitive bids for each task order. This contract will be managed by Capstone’s Business Solutions Directorate.
Capstone Awarded Second Contract to Provide Protocol Support for Supreme Allied Command Transformation.
(Sep 2006) Capstone was awarded its second contract to provide protocol technical services in support of NATO’s United States based headquarters, Supreme Allied Command, Transformation. Capstone will be responsible for planning, preparing and executing all conferences, exercises, seminars, ceremonies and VIP visits to Headquarters, Supreme Allied Command Transformation. This contract was awarded for a base year and two option years and will be managed by Mr. Bob Brich, Director of Mission Systems Division.
