Robert J. Brich has shown leadership throughout his career of 30 plus years both as a Navy fighter pilot and a seasoned business executive. He joined the Capstone Corporation in June of 2004 as Director, of Mission Systems Support Solutions. In this position, his responsibilities include the operations and business expansion for a significant sector of the company’s business. He spearheads the growth, development, and performance of varied business areas and contracts involving technical and professional services for the Joint Forces Command, Army, Navy and Air Force.

Prior to joining the Capstone Corporation, Mr. Brich served with Communication Technologies, Inc. (COMTek) as Corporate Vice President. In this recent key position, Mr. Brich oversaw all aspects of COMTek operations in the Hampton Roads region. In other past positions, he served as Executive Vice President for Pulsar Data, a wholly owned subsidiary of Litronic Inc. As the Executive Vice President he was responsible for Marketing, Sales and Technical Services and the development, management and performance of business units focused on Electronic and Data Security solutions and services. A position previous was as the President of Infotex LTD, taking that position within the startup business operation in January of 1998. Infotex LTD was merged into Pulsar Data as part of the Litronic acquisition and public offering. Since leaving his 22-year assignment in the Navy in January of 1990, Bob has served in a number of senior management positions within large commercial information technology and service based firms. He held the position of Corporate Executive Vice President with Management Systems Applications (MSA), Inc., a worldwide information and electronic security provider, from June 1994 to September 1997. Prior to this position he was the Senior Vice President of Business Operations for SEACOR, an international services based company within the Day&Zimmerman Group. During his stay with SEACOR between January 1990 and May 1994, he advanced rapidly from his initial position as a Program Manager to Vice President of Training Systems and Vice President of Southern U.S. Operations. Prior to joining Infotex, he held the position of Director for Business Development within SFA, Inc.

He has completed his studies as a Ph.D. candidate, in the dissertation phase, at Old Dominion University where he was inducted into the Phi Kappa Phi honor society for his academic achievements. Bob holds a BS in Education; an MS from the Naval War College; an MBA from Marymount College, and attended the Wharton School of Business for studies in Strategic Management Curriculums. Bob is proud to have held an appointment on the Board of Directors for Tidewater Center for Technology Access (TCTA) where he served as a past Chairman. TCTA actively supported and provided access to technology for the physically challenged within the City of Virginia Beach and the Hampton Roads area.
